One can hardly stretch a creative-musical arc wider: after dressing mainly Kundalini Yoga Mantras and Shabads in splendid musical robes with his ever popular previous albums, for his album Zu Hause (“At Home”) Sat Hari Singh hooked up with the New York scene band Echo Bloom to let his musical and textual visions just run free.
The result is an album that can hardly be classified in a single category: German and English songs find a synthesis in Kundalini Shabads and Mantras, all being greatly supported by the refreshing new sound of the band Echo Bloom.
With poetic Germanlyrics, and songs reminiscent of individualists such as Rio Reiser or Hermann van Veen, with touching English ballads and the power of Kundalini mantras, Sat Hari Singh and Echo Bloom place this album in a whole new musical genre.
