Maca (botanical name: Lepidium meyenii) is a perennial cress-plant that thrives in the highlands of the Peruvian Andes at altitudes of 3,000 to 4,500 meters. The extreme living conditions, in which the Maca tuber grows, justify its great vital power. The taste of Maca powder can be described as chocolate-vanilla-like.
The color of Maca is similar to potatoes, but it has the size of radishes. The Maca roots are harvested, carefully dried and powdered. According to an old legend, the Inca fighters ate Maca before they went into battle, which gave them enormous strength. Our organic Maca Powder will give your energy level a new boost!

Preparation / Usage:
1 - 34 tbsp (i.e. 3 - 5 gms.)per day, or as required. For daily use, we recommend omitting the Maca powder for one week a month.
