Hemp seeds are original, natural, and delicious. The peeled organic hemp seeds by Govinda have a fine nutty, slightly sweetish taste and are very good for direct consumption as a snack, but also for refining salads, muesli and smoothies or protein shakes as a valuable nutritious enrichment.
It was found that the regular consumption of hemp seeds belongs to everyday life in regions where people become particularly old and are still mentally and physically fit in old age. In addition to a mostly unpolluted environment, hemp seeds are eaten there more regularly and in larger quantities than elsewhere.
Organic hemp seed is a real Superfood, because it contains some of the most important nutrients and vital substances for the human organism: calcium, potassium, magnesium, sulfur and iron as well as the vitamins A, B, C, D and E. Hemp seeds also provide a sufficient amount of valuable omega-3 fatty acids in combination with the rare gamma-linolenic acid (an omega-6 fatty acid) as well as a high amount of antioxidants such as Phytol, which counteract the so-called "free radicals", which are classified as particularly harmful. With over 30% the protein content of hemp seeds is also very high, which is ideal for a vegetarian diet.
