Mirabai Ceiba: versatile, universal & spiritual

Mirabai Ceiba: versatile, universal & spiritual

The name Mirabai Ceiba is an expression both for the Indian and the Latin-American influence. The Ceiba is the holy tree of Latin America where these trees are never felled but are left in place where they can grow until they become very tall.
"We wish our music to be just like this tree, deeply rooted with Mother Earth, and branches which reach high up to Father Heaven. Mirabai for us is the pilgrimage, the devotion, the inspiration and all the different aspects of Divinity".
– Mirabai Ceiba

The mix of different cultures and a common vision opened up a new dimension for Mirabai Ceiba. Their artistic flair, their great musical skillfulness(both instrumental and vocal),their drive to always try something new and work with different guest musicians– all this makes the music of Mirabai Ceiba a real treat!

"With their music, Mirabai Ceiba dedicate themselves without hesitation to that original spirit and essence which lives in all of us. In this way of devotional giving, they take us to that divine space for which we are all longing."
– Snatam Kaur

"Mirabai Ceiba’s music has a far-reaching impact, soothing like a lullaby, connected with the celebrative feeling of deep gratitude. Their music can be best described with the words: it is like a warm fire on a cold mountain. It will open all the windows of your heart with effortless tears and unconditional love…".
– Michael Mollura, "LA Yoga", Yoga Magazine, Los Angeles, USA.
