LOVE WITHIN is a praise to the Divine Mother, to the goddesses and saints like Tara, Mother Mary and Parvati, to the female power within all of us. In mothers you find unconditional love and compassion sparkling in the purest form. Inner values like patience, tolerance, forgiveness, understanding and unconditional love are human qualities we all share, male or female, religious and non-religious.

For their album Love Within – Beyond, famous Rock- and Soul legend Tina Turner together with swiss sopranist and music therapist Regula Curti joined again with Tibetan mantra singer Dechen Shak-Dagsay and for this project for the first time also with Indian singer Sawani Shende-Sathaye. Love Within – Beyond merges prayers and chants from the Buddhist-, Christian- and Hindu-traditions in ancient languages such as Latin, Aramaic, Sanskrit, Hindi, Brij and Tibetan. The music covers a wide range of styles and instruments: from western Gospels to traditional Indian music, from Tibetan bells and soundbowls, Indian drums, Sitars and an aramaic Doudouk all the way to a swiss Alpenhorn…
